I attended the 11-day dieta in Portugal in the summer of 2025. Located in a beautiful and secluded area, surrounded only by nature, the setting was a perfect place to turn inwards. The accommodation offered me privacy, yet also closeness whenever I needed support or connection. I was in awe of how much care Yuri Magoori put into everything—the food, his presence, and the ceremonies. The plants were treated with love and respect, and I truly felt I was in their care. This Dieta was as much a meeting with nature and its healing abilities as it was with myself and my search for clarity.
Yuri Magoori is a magician in what he does. I’ve witnessed it many times, yet I am still blown away by the way he works with the plants, the music, and his participants. The 11-day dieta felt longer than expected, and I hadn’t anticipated going through so many different thoughts and emotions. Throughout it all, Yuri was always there whenever I needed him. Thank you for showing me all the new ways to soften my mind's barriers, for your kindness, care and lighthearted approach, for having me in your beautiful home. I thought the area and ceremony were thoughtfully set up, but at the same time I liked the flow and I felt I could ask you and change anything if I wasn't comfortable. I liked the personal atmosphere that one on one ceremony created, and the area for it was perfect and nourishing in the rural setting in the valley between mountains.
Any aches i had or heaviness on the chest is gone, I wish i could always stay feeling this light and clean. I was expecting some kind of emotional drama, but I guess these things are unpredictable, and im feeling grounded and calm

I have now been on a 11-day plant medicine dieta with Yuri Magoori. The whole experience has been life changing for me. I have become calmer, grounded and have regained my joy of life. The area in the small village was like taking time back to the 50:s, quiet and still with the church bell as a daily rhythm. There were forests and rivers all around. Yuri had planned the 10 days carefully and each day had a meaning and ceremonial content that moved me forward in my process.
